ZGR Approves Its Second Equality Plan 2025–2029

ZGR Corporación has just approved its Second Equality Plan 2025–2029, continuing the gender equality policies launched in 2021 and strengthening the gender perspective in corporate management, organizational policies, and people management practices.

The Equality Plan includes 13 areas of action, covering aspects such as recruitment and hiring processes, job classification and professional development, working conditions, work-life balance, training, and remuneration, among others.

It also incorporates specific measures related to inclusive and non-sexist communication, prevention of workplace harassment, LGTBI rights, and prevention of gender-based violence.

One of the company’s key focus areas is female representation, both by encouraging the recruitment of more women and by promoting their participation in representative committees, with the aim of advancing parity across different job categories and positions.

ZGR already offers well-valued work-life balance measures, such as flexible working hours, maternity, paternity and breastfeeding leave, parental care leave, teleworking, and the possibility of taking split vacation periods. This Second Equality Plan also proposes assessing new work-life balance measures that go beyond those established in the collective bargaining agreement.

Reinforcing the Commitment to Training

Another key aspect of the plan is training, which is essential to “extend the culture of equal opportunities throughout the organization and eliminate stereotypes that may limit women’s professional development,” explains Talent Director Antonio Arenas. He also highlights the new training programs on sexual diversity and respect for LGTBI individuals, guidelines and best practices for inclusive language, and advanced training in occupational health, prevention, and workplace safety.

Through ongoing dialogue and consensus among all stakeholders, this Second Equality Plan 2025–2029 reflects the company’s core values—being flexible, transparent, honest, generous, optimistic, courageous, and inclusive—and its commitment to leading the transformation of the electrical industry with authenticity and expertise.
