Mexican industry is experiencing a crucial moment in its development, and faces significant challenges in the quality and security of its electrical infrastructures. In this context, ZGR Corporación has consolidated itself in this country as a strategic partner with extensive business experience, which offers innovative and integral solutions to ensure grid quality and the hybridisation solutions that allow the optimisation and improvement of its energy efficiency.
ZGR México: Meetings with large companies in the electrical sector
Recently, Company directors visited the country with the aim of holding meetings with large companies in the electrical sector and to understand the business prospects for the coming months after the holding of the recent presidential, legislative, state and municipal elections. Among others, meetings have been held with companies such as SERINTRA, SCHNEIDER MÉXICO, SIEMENS ENERGY MÉXICO and WEG MEXICO.
It all the meetings, large investment growth expectations were conveyed, both in renewable energies and electrical infrastructure. The former, in order to finally resume Mexico’s commitments to policies aimed at combating climate change and, the latter, to reduce costs for industry of a very deficient infrastructure due to the lack of investment in the past, as well as being able to continue attracting (and accelerating the arrival) of industrial investments, and taking advantage of the “nearshoring” policy of the United States.
In this regard, Íñigo Segura, CEO of ZGR Corporación, who chaired these meetings with his local counterparts, said that: “We are committed to consolidating our growth in Mexico, and bringing our leading technology in grid quality equipment, solar inverters, battery energy storage systems and chargers – voltage rectifiers that ensure stability and modernisation of electrical infrastructures”.
The Mexican manufacturing industry has annual losses that exceed $200 million due to incessant electrical supply outages, especially in the north of the country. ZGR offers alternatives that can mitigate these impacts without requiring massive investments, which allow Mexican companies to increase their competitiveness.
The commitment to establishing framework collaboration agreements
“The strategy of ZGR México goes beyond the mere provision of technology” – explained Íñigo Segura – “We are seeking to establish framework agreements, with a view to long-term collaboration, which enable cooperation in the development of joint innovative solutions and allow us to become a key strategic supplier in the region”.
This approach not only benefits the companies, but contributes to this general strengthening of the Mexican manufacturing sector, a sector that, moreover, is currently being strengthened as a consequence of the commitment of the US to promote a proximity policy of its strategic suppliers, making Mexico a key country.
Specifically, the visits have been used to initiate conversations with the aim of reaching long-term supply agreements and development or customisation of products with some of the visited companies. It has been agreed to start work to get these types of agreements signed by means of technical meetings to take place in Mexico in the coming months, with the presence of a large technical and commercial delegation from ZGR which will travel from Spain.
ZGR is seen as a key catalyst in the transformation of the energy landscape of Mexico.
The presence of ZGR in Mexico represents a unique opportunity for the national industry to take a qualitative jump in quality and energy efficiency. With solutions adapted to the specific needs of the Mexican market, ZGR is seen as a key catalyst in the transformation of the energy landscape of the country, thus contributing to its global competitiveness and sustainable economic development. Furthermore, it has a local technical service that ensures not only the installation and setup of our equipment, but also its subsequent maintenance.
Notable among the solutions proposed by ZGR México for the main industries are:
- Energy storage systems: These allow variables such as grid voltage, power and frequency to be controlled, which dampen demand peaks and ensure the stability of the supply.
- Solar inverters and energy generation and hybrid systems: These provide a clean and renewable energy source.
- Grid quality equipment: These guarantee a stable electrical supply, crucial for electro-intensive industries with critical processes such as data centres, financial services, hospitals and health and food industries, among others
- Rectifiers-chargers: Essential components of electrical substations that ensure the uninterrupted and uneventful supply of control and switching equipmen
