NEW FAMILY OF CHARGER-RECTIFIERS WITH ADVANCED CYBER SECURITY CONTROLS
ACTION CO-FINANCED BY THE BASQUE GOVERNMENT (DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, SUSTAINABILITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT) AND THE EUROPEAN UNION THROUGH THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND 2021-2027 (ERDF).
The R&D project carried out by ZIGOR CORPORACIÓN S.A. entitled “New family of rectifier-chargers with advanced cybersecurity controls”, file number ZL-2023/00237, has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
The main objective of the project is to develop a new embedded platform that has greater computational capabilities for the execution of different complex applications for the control and supervision of the recharging process of lead-acid, Ni-Cd or lithium-ion batteries of up to 150 Ah capacity and supplying a nominal power of 250W and 500W. As the resulting SECURE-TPS platform will be deployed at ZIGOR’s customer sites, it is vital that the platform has the necessary security measures in place to ensure resilience against cyber-attacks aimed at disrupting the power supply through targeted attacks against the control devices deployed on the network.
