DISTRIBUTED POWER: THE INNOVATIVE FULL & FAST SYSTEM IN WHICH ZGR HAS COLLABORATED
The company, an expert in full&fast energy transformation, has chosen ZGR, together with CIRCE – Technology Centre, as partners for the development of a sustainable distributed power solution called “Green Eel”. The name of this project is inspired by the image of an electric eel and clean energy.
From ZGR, we have worked on the supervision of the system design, with the aim of ensuring a robust, efficient and reliable product.
CHARACTERISTICS OF GREEN EEL
“Green Eel” is differentiated from other solutions by the following characteristics:

The innovative full&fast project seeks to boost access to “green” energy at any time without the need to extend the contracted power. “For us, the need to make access to electrical energy more flexible through distributed generation/power, supported by efficient and portable storage systems has been an objective since our founding”, said the company in its blog.
This sustainable solution has the capacity to work in parallel with “n” modules and in hybridisation with diesel sets (“grid forming” and “grid following”).

It has the grid codes of the 28 community countries in a way that is compatible with their power systems, Capacity to work in parallel with “n” modules, Hybridisation with diesel sets (“grid forming” and “grid following”), Connection with solar panels and wind generators, and Interface with the user through the 7” touchscreen.
MORE ENERGY WITHOUT EXTENDING POWER
Electrical energy depends on the existence of a grid for its distribution, and this sometimes limits the development and access to green energy. In turn, this access is conditioned by the maximum power that this grid can supply.
Full&Fast considers: “And if we could have more energy when we wanted it, without the need to extend the contracted power? Could we even have more power than our installation can provide? Would it be possible to have a device that stores and delivers energy? Is the electrical energy even capable of reaching where the distribution grid cannot?” The Full&Fast “Green Eel” system seeks the solution to all the above.
