Process description

Sysgration is a Taiwanese company with more than 30 years of experience, it is a manufacturer of electronic products such as peripherals for computers, tablets, industrial computers, cameras, modules for mobiles, etc. It has factories and offices in China and Taiwan.

The factory in Zhenjiang, China is more than 170,000 square meters and it is Sysgration’s largest, it is where the electronic components are manufactured that make up the products that the company offers.

The problem

For the manufacture of electronic components, Sysgration carries out the SMT and COB processes, among others, in its Zhenjiang factory which require extreme delicacy and a voltage drop causes errors in the process, and the production of that phase is rendered unusable.

The SMT and COB processes are made up of different phases, such as, for example: printing, assembly, welding and cleaning. Some of which are more critical than others, due to the accuracy required or the need for the process to be carried out at a specific temperature.

The solution

To guarantee correct operation in the critical phases such as “die bonding” and “wire bonding” in the COB processes and prevent errors in the positioning of SMD components in SMT processes, Sysgration has decided to install a 200 kVA DVC SEPEC in its factory in Zhenjiang, China, and thus prevent any variation or voltage drop in the grid that could lead to faulty production.
